Abstract

Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) is one of the most important legume crops worldwide. However, drought poses a serious threat to chickpea production, making the development of drought-tolerant varieties essential. Differences in drought duration, in addition to biological productivity, were found to be significant for the traits studied. Differences between genotypes were observed in flowering time, pod formation time, physiological maturity time, and yield. This article examines the productivity of heat-tolerant pea varieties and lines.
