Abstract

This article presents theoretical studies on determining the radius of curvature of the working surface of an additional moldboard. The correct selection of the curvature radius of the additional moldboard ensures the complete placement of the soil slice, cut by the disc body, onto the working surface of the additional moldboard and its full inversion. As a result, plant residues and weeds are thoroughly and deeply buried within the soil layer.
